Kallie is an avid outdoors person and was hunting with her father, from a two-man ladder stand on October 08, 2012 for an evening hunt. Kallie and her dad had been in the stand for about an hour and a half when they spotted the buck behind them, working his way in their direction. Kallie readied herself for the shot. Patiently still, she waited 15 minutes for the buck to stop at approximately 22 yards and look away at a doe headed towards him. Kallie drew her bow loaded with a carbon ICS Beman arrow and a three blade 100 grain muzzy broadhead. The buck turned and looked towards Kallie and lifted one front leg, ready to whirl. Kallie kept her composure and released the string making the perfect double lung shot. The animal expired within 50 yards.
