Greetings fellow Women Hunters. It is an honor to be a part of Women Hunters as a Writer and Pro Staff member. I live in West Central Indiana with my husband Andy and our children Kelsea, Travis and Mikayla. Along with our beloved lab Hank. I grew up in a hunting family, my older brother John was key to developing my love of the outdoors and hunting. My dad always took me along hunting and fishing whenever he could. He was also very important in developing my passion and respect for the outdoors. As a child, I would coon hunt and rabbit hunt with them and my grandfathers. I have so many wonderful memories of those days. They were setting the foundation for me to enjoy the rest of my life.
My goals in hunting are to increase my knowledge of all aspects of hunting. Another important goal for me in hunting is to share my enthusiasm of hunting with other women and the youth. Teaching Archery classes for National Wild Turkey's Women in the Outdoors program, Indiana Hunters Education and NBEF Classes fuel my desire to share with others the enjoyment of the outdoors and the challenge of archery. I am excited at the opportunities that lie ahead for me and my fellow Women Hunters. May God Bless you on your next outdoor adventure and don't forget to stop and take in the beauty of all that HE has given us and remember to leave it better than you found it and PASS IT ON!
