I have been a true lover of the outdoors and hunting for as long as I can remember. I live in a hunter's paradise, Southern Wisconsin, and enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and running. I grew up hunting pheasants and water fowl with my father, but didn't pick up deer hunting until I was in college.
My greatest passion in life is bow hunting Wisconsin whitetail. I spend every spare moment I can in the woods. Whether I'm chasing bucks in the fall or hunting for sheds in the spring, I love being outdoors. I picked up bow hunting 13 years ago and have been blessed with many deer including a Pope and Young record buck. There's nothing I enjoy more than scouting out the perfect spot for my tree stand or sitting around the campfire sharing stories from the day's hunt. I am blessed to share this passion with my father, and have since introduced bow hunting to my husband and son. I feel so lucky to be able to share in the adventures of hunting individually and as a family. We believe in deer quality management and in preserving the heritage of hunting that sustained our ancestors.
I enjoy writing as a hobby and have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from UW-Whitewater. I make my living working for my husband who is in the financial industry which allows me to pursue my love for bow hunting.
The older I become, the stronger my passion grows for hunting. I am looking forward to writing for womenhunters.com and in sharing in the adventures with others!
